A multi-tenant platform for small businesses, mid-build and behind schedule. Brought in alongside two other developers to get menutize.ai live, then called back fifteen months later when the relaunch stalled with a different team. Payments, custom domains, deployment infrastructure, and the features that had to work before launch day.

Why it mattered
Multi-tenant billing looks simple until you're running four payment flows for three different kinds of user. Most of the work is in the places that only break at scale, or on the day a real customer tries something nobody tested.

Highlights
- Four separate Stripe integrations, each solving a different problem: app subscriptions, Stripe Connect accounts so businesses could take payments under their own branding, end-customer checkout on business sites, and a referral programme
- Hit Heroku's 1,000-domain ceiling with custom domains in production, and moved the entire deployment infrastructure to DigitalOcean in two days
- Built invoice and estimate tracking that shows businesses real-time customer activity: when an email opens, when it's reopened, when the invoice is viewed, when it's paid
- Fixed timezone handling across the whole application, one of those problems that looks small until it corrupts every timestamp a customer sees
- Returned for the relaunch to clear the backlog and ship the features the team hadn't reached, delivered to the founder's deadline
